Hi everyone,
I just wanted to add to this discussion because I’m experiencing the same issue on the iPad version of Band-in-a-Box.
I recently bought an iPad mainly to use BIAB as a mobile companion to my desktop version, but I was really surprised to find that the instrument transposition option (C / Bb / Eb) — which used to exist in older Android and iPad versions — is no longer available in the current app.
This feature was extremely useful for wind instruments (saxophone, trumpet, etc.) when displaying lead sheets or chord symbols.
On Android version 0.9.1.36 (Build 39) it worked perfectly, and I remember the older iPad build also had it.
I’ve contacted PG Music Support, but they told me that older versions are no longer offered.
I’m hoping that maybe someone here (or from PG Music) can confirm if there’s any way to restore that feature, or if it might return in a future iOS update.
