I had a video shot, and I'd like to pump up the bass a bit. (mp4)
I just want to load the video, eq, and save with another name.
Any suggestions?
It seems VideoPad might work for that, but without downloading it, and installing it, it's hard to tell.

My audio editor, Amadeus, will allow me to easily make eq adjustments to a video. I assume that feature is common amongst other such editors. FWIW

I *think Nero does, but suggest double checking. They have options for level of features, plus not sure how much else you may want this software to do. Platinum is $49 right now and includes a ton. Even some backup options you asked about separately. I downloaded VideoPad, and it has an Eq for the audio. The default is 20 bands. Now I need to see if I can save it.

I've been using Shotcut to create simple YouTube videos - just a static jpg for the video and an imported audio file - but there are a number of audio tools including EQ.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
