Good song, great vocals! There was an odd bit of silence between the lines of the first verse - I didn't notice it after that. Good energy in this tune, well done!

So totally excellent, in every regard. Loved the lyric, delivery, choice of construction with the various RT's and live stuff. All around top-notch.
And the lyric-story is very appealing.
I esp liked the tag at the end with the city names.
Only "improvement" suggestion I can make...the phrase "rat RACE" seems a bit forced, placing the accent on the wrong element. If it were mine, I'd look for a more natural line-ending where that emphasis fits a bit better...a nit, but it would bother me.

Country music at its absolute best. Great vocal, backing tracks, and mix.
An outstanding song. Thanks, Mario! Scott, SO nice to hear a first rate country tune without the "modern" autotune effect. Super song and super(er) vocals. Good vocals as others have said, and I like the way the lyrics are set out and you release details progressively. Houston to to Atchafalaya - Google maps tells me 250 miles or about 400km - that’s a reasonable hike to have to do regularly. I can see why you’d be keen to get home.

To our ears this is outstanding “Hat Act” country.
A good thing indeed and great to hear.
Your vocals are perfecto for the song.
Well delivered in tone and phrasing.
Your guitar track and all the BiaB wrecking crew provided excellent support to the lyric and your vocals.
