But, to be fair, pretty much every music software program I use has a steep learning curve GUI. (I'm talking to you Scaler. And you, Toontrack. And you RealiTone. And a bunch of others!) The difference is those tools look modern and seem intentionally designed rather than ancient and assembled with duct tape and wire! laugh

Does Scaler have a steep learning curve? Yes
Does it have a modern intentionally designed GUI? Yes
Does BiaB appear ancient and is being technologically left behind? Yes

Conversely, Studio One Pro (as an example) does have a modern/attractive GUI, a short learning curve and is not being technologically left behind. So these positive attributes are possible to combine into a single software product.; but it requires elegant software engineering. Studio One has also embraced AI.
