I think you nailed it, Mario. There is something very disturbing about it, which I think is what you were going for. Or maybe I'm influenced by your suggestion. I wonder if it has been described as something meditative with flashes of insight if I would have had the same visceral response. Thanx so much Beth. This came about as I was thinking about some of the people where I worked that did the same thing every year, didn't get a promotion, then complained about it. They did nothing to improve their situation and got mad at those of use who did.
