I absolutely love the line "But I wouldn't want to with you!"
As an older single guy I totally identify with these lyrics! And I love the blues, sooo... good job! It was a fun listen!
I also like seeing video used with audio to get more of the senses involved. What you've done here is very engaging

We laughed when first reading the lyric.

Like the exact opposite of what we are saying. 😆
You have a cool way of making your characters come to life.

fj All play and no work... Yeah! Every music store should have a Sleazeball Music section. Needs mo' fiddle. If you’re hunting for a masterclass in slick, self-serving detachment, "I Wouldn’t But I Want To" is your jam. Doesn't seem like a popular class.This track is a cheeky dive into the mind of a charmingly shady character, riding a groove so infectious you might just overlook his sketchy motives. Pretty much all shady charachters are charming.Marty’s vocals are like a smooth operator’s guide to sweet-talking out of any mess, dropping those double-edged lines with a sly grin and a delivery so smooth, you’ll find yourself vibing with the slickest player in town.😉 Ah, I like the Sade reference.  This is the anthem for the Excuse Architect—the dude who blames wavy mountain lines and a looming storm (on a day without a cloud in the sky) for his vanishing act. But while this guy’s running late and ducking out, the band’s right there, nailing the groove like pros.🎵 HAHAHA. You're the best, Izzy. Uniquely the best.Marty’s voice oozes that slick, oily charm, spinning convenient lies with a musical sincerity that’s hard to resist. And even though he’s claiming he’s skipping town, his bass work is right there, holding it down with a funky, tight shuffle that makes you forget the main character’s a total sleazeball.🤪 Oh, man, who wouldn't love a salesman/agent like you.And let’s give it up for Dave Bell (Blue Attitude) on lead guitar. It’s the perfect soundtrack for ditching your responsibilities while your inner Seinfeld shrugs, “Not that there’s anything wrong with that.” Highly recommended—just don’t try these excuses on a date. They won’t fly. ✈👇 And now Seinfeld. Man, you're right. The one thing I hate about this song is that is seems to say gals are stupid. I know this is about a guy, but let me tell you, I've dated too many ladies like this, unfortunately, too . Dave Bell's guitar playing is superb ... again, as usual. The vocals and guitar are driving and lively, it's really great.
The lyrics are great, too. They express the conflicting feelings of a sleezball well.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

I've been listening to your new album a lot. And this song is one of the highlights with its cool rhythm, Dave's superb solo and of course the head spinning lyrics. The story and your vocal flow naturally like that wavy mountain line. I would and I want to listen to it again. Your music speaks to my soul.
