Many of you know the issues I've been having with slow internet. Even when things were "working", I was on a DSL line that delivered less than 20mbs.

Starting in July we have had several outages of 2 and 3 weeks due to the long time to get a technician on site. The last one was about 2 weeks and when it came back on it was dragging at a mere 2mbs down and less than .5mbs up.

I decided to check the other options. Having done this in July during the 3 week outage, and finding none available, I was basically hoping against hope that something had changed. Previously not even the cell data providers covered our address/area.

So imagine my absolute surprise and total unbelief at what I was seeing when one of the wireless companies said... "Our service is available at your address". So I went to T-Mobile to get the wireless access point. I brought it home and set it up. I was getting 400mbs on my phone, not one single buffering notice on the TV, and now, the LAN wired computers in my office are get over 900mps.

I'm like a kid in a candy store.

One of my sync publishers requires multiple edits which can be over 1G in size. Previously, I was unable to send them through their preferred upload method due to time outs on the server. At 2mbs DSL upload speeds, needless to say, it took well over an hour just to send one song project. Somehow, I don't think that will be a problem for me now.

Anyway, the problem seems to be resolved now.
