Hi Scott, It's so funny...when I hear a country song, my first impulse is to go "ug". It's just habit, even despite the fact that this forum has helped me learn to appreciate all kinds of music. I only share that embarrassing tidbit to express the quality of your song which really pulled me in. I was fascinated by the layered guitars. Strong, steady vocal and the chorus progression is really catchy too. Fiddles to boot. Curses! I'm a country fan!!  I'm so glad you gave it a listen, and I can't thank you enough for your kind and lovely feedback. Excellent choice of instrumentation for this country song. Great lyrics and vocals.
