Thanks, Andrew. I’m interested in how the song title came about - did you have the title early and write to the title or did the music conjur that title? Or, being a singer, did the title feature in the melody phrasing somewhere - this is often how it happens for me. I was about 3/4 of the way through laying down the tracks when the title came to me. Before that, it was just "Working Title 1." Since then, I've been toying with the idea of a whole suite of "Beyond" songs and melodies: The Back of Beyond; Beyond All Reason; Beyond Reasonable Doubt; Beyond Recognition
Beyond The Black Stump (our North American friends might have no clue about that one!) Beyond the Pale or a parody of that one = Beyond the Pail - a song about the things you left off your bucket list.
