Another solid write Andrew.
Thanks Lee! We are both very [lucky / fortunate / blessed - I'm not sure what the appropriate word is nowadays] men to have enduring marriages - easy to overlook in the day-to-day rhythm of life. Alison is very reluctant to receive praise about how worthy she is. I often quote a line from the movie 'As good as it gets' starring Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt - "You make me want to be a better man". (BTW - where is Greg Kinnear these days - I thought he was a good actor.)
Re: Mike Nesmith - any particular song or just the general vibe? I have to admit that his 'Joanne' (despite its country leanings) is an all-time favourite of mine. I know we have both been likened to different artists from time-to-time, so I am always fascinated by these comparisons. As my mum would say "A fox can't smell its own den".
