Hi Cobber,
A melody can be recorded onto the Melody or Soloist track, using the 'Record Melody' option from the main menu. You can use the in-app fretboard and keyboard, or an external MIDI instrument connected to your iOS device.
Other than overdubbing more MIDI events, you'll have to use the desktop app to edit your melody further.
@Bluebop - We'd definitely like the app to do this, too!
