This is a really nice upgrade to the user experience. everything seems to be where it should be. so far i like the new tool bars and i am sure this will be super helpful going forward.

Yes, very nice GUI will be of great help.

Has anyone seen any significant improvements to the search concept/functionality?

I can't find any changes to the existing concept other than that the existing functionality is much nicer grouped in the new GUI.
Maybe I have missed it, I have only briefly looked around.

Very nice GUI.

Very nice GUI.

I hope so too, this is the number one thing I was hoping for!

I've just been playing around with the "Titles" tab (#1 on the image below) in the Library. This helps isolate styles really well.

1) Select a decade (#3 on the image) of music that appeals.

2) Scroll through the list and find a song that has a similar feel to the one that you want to arrange.

3) Click on "Apply - find matching styles".

4) The details in the ' information' window (#4), also provide handy filtering terms that can be used elsewhere... e.g. sw8, ev16, tempo, etc.

For me, this really helps to isolate and identify possibilities.

I really like the modern look and can see myself creating another few songs with this years release.

Going to have a nice browse through the new content when everything gets up and running.

I just hade a quick look, to me it looks exactly the same as the existing title search in the 2025 BIAB, only it is a nicer layout with all the titles in a table.

But from what I can see the search result is the same as before i.e. a list off all styles that matches the same "filter settings" as in the selected title (mostly without any resemblance to the groove in the title song)

What a shame. I will probably upgrade just for the new GUI, but a complete revamp of the search system is probably what most long time users (including me) were hoping for.

Latest BIAB version, latest build.
