Dear all, now that Biab 26 is out, it might be okay for you to share some info. I am very interessted in this AI Notes function. I am locking for a tool to get midi out of piano recordings. Piano is very difficult even for AI Tools, so I have reason to doubt this AI Notes Function will work out in a usefull way. While a video from PG Music might take time, if even there would be some at all, can someone of you sheed some light?

Oh, the transcription project I just completed and video taped is not from the OP, but someone else who read the offer. I thought this was the orgin of the email and request to demo the transcription. I sent them the video and will post it if they give permission. I think it was a very favorable outcome - otherwise I would not post it, right?
Just got the green light to post. I did this with NO EDITING. Took just minutes to push the AI's buttons. My biggest surprize was how long it was. But I tried to tape the whole performance.
Opps!!! Oh crap, I did no talking but…. I left my mic on with the TV running in the background of the whole taping! What an amateur mistake. I am so embarrased. I am going to do it all over and will send a new version of the video.

I am an old fart of 70+, so a Grandfather UI fits my style. That didn't bother me enough to spend my money to get something more modern. But this AI Notes feature does.
The UI is just a bonus, and so could be the plugIn - but the sparce info box provided is just the same as last years. But maybe there is something hidden that will pop out once I use it.

I wonder if this is more accurate than built in audio to midi conversion like Cubase and I am sure other DAWs have. Is it the same type of technology or an improvement?

A tough question to answer. There is currently a surge of this specific AI application going on now. PRISM is just out the other day. SMP (who own PRISM) has this same tool. Of course Melodyne is a player out there. All depend on the music source. I have all of these. I have gotten good results and bad results from each one of these. So now we have BIAB. I have used it "semi-critically" three times now and each time it has yielded surprising good results with only my cursory listening. I think PRISM and SMP are essentially the same and BIAB is very similar. All based on AI. Melodyne I think is a different animal. For me, these are all tools to add to my arsenal.
