Band-in-a-Box for Android isn't available through the Google Playstore yet so, how do you get it?

Band-in-a-Box for Android is an .apk file that ships with all 2026 Band-in-a-Box for Window packages. The Band-in-a-Box for Android .apk file is loaded to the X/bb/Android subfolder as part of the main program installation. Note: X is whatever storage drive letter you installed Band-in-a-Box to.

Use a usb cable to connect your Android smartphone to your Band-in-a-Box computer. Open your smartphone settings and select file transfer for the smartphone usb port. Your Band-in-a-Box computer should recognize your smartphone as an external memory device.

On your computer open File Manager. Navigate to X:/bb/Android and select the .apk file. Note: You may want to copy and paste the file instead of cut and paste so you don't risk loosing it.

Navigate to your smartphone memory and paste the .apk file. Disconnect the usb cable from the Smartphone and computer.

Use your smartphone file manager to navigate to the .apk file and install the application.
