While I said, before the Video was available: "I am an old fart of 70+ and a Grandfather UI fits my style."
Meaning a change would not cause me to update and spent because of it. This has changed looking at the video.

After I've seen the different possibilities I am sold. I can see now so much Views that would support me getting the best out of Band in a Box.
There was a disscusion about Mixer layout still being horizontal. And, even if I have faders on my nektar oriented in the vertical way just as with any Hardware I know, this layout makes perfect sense now. I can have the Faders left from the track and they line up with the corresponding track. That will be most usefull for many situations.
This is just the way my DAW of choice (and Real Band) works. I can make changes to Volume without pulling up the large mixer window during different states of the music making process. And, changing perspective usually triggers creative ideas.
