Sleigh Ride To Your Galaxy (audio only) Sleigh Ride To Your Galaxy (video)This song has a quite long history. The first version was made in 2017 for a song contest on a local forum, idea was to write a song based on given lines of lyrics, in my song Vocaloid girls were singing about explosive love or something like that. Then later, I wanted to have lyrics completely my own so I made a Finnish version about intergalactic romance. It took me many years to finish the English version, but when it was finally ready, I had a strange idea to change it to a story about intergalactic Santa I managed to do that version quickly enough before the holidays. There are lines "Shoot to the heights", "desire...fire" & "ash...flash" still left from the original version, but the arrangement is still the same, no need to change something that is working. The song is short enough for those who hate it, the synth vocalists or the phrasing - I have minimized their suffering. The song is short enough for those who love it - to force them to listen to it again and again AI was used to help writing the lyrics, I asked how to add more humor, but AI's sense of humor was lame, I used only Klingons and deflector shields and only for technical reasons But the video is almost entirely created by the help of AI, that was really funny. I enjoyed the process and many AI video clips made me laugh. AI technology is amazing and now only my imagination sets the limits. The BIAB band has always excelled in the punk genre, so it was easy to select the right guitars. Happy Holidays! [Chorus] But tonight I will crash into your galaxy the aim of my desire is to feed your fire the Milky Way greets our space sleigh fleet when we fill your stockings by beaming dream bling. [Verse] Wake up, reindeer, no time to sleep prepare the warp drive, the quantum leap elves have made and wrapped the gifts we are shooting to the heights through the wormholes and black holes to the holy nights. [Chorus] But tonight I will crash into your galaxy the aim of my desire is to feed your fire the Milky Way greets our space sleigh fleet when we fill your stockings by beaming dream bling. [Bridge] The plasma clouds can't prevent this trip deflector shields block the Klingon ships I spew out fury and red hot ash I'll reach you in a flash. (Here comes Solo!) [Chorus] But tonight I will crash into your galaxy the aim of my desire is to feed your fire the Milky Way greets our space sleigh fleet when we fill your stockings by beaming dream bling. Honestly, the style isn't really my thing, so I won't judge. However, I loved the video. Laurent

Hi Janne! With Santa now having to serve the Galaxy, the length of 1:45 is good so we don’t hold him up from his expanded responsibilities! The video gets my vote for song video of the year! Andrew

Janne, this is not only fabulous but also hilarious. Great song with very original lyrics. The video matched the song perfectly; Super Santa, did he have a big S on the front of his uniform? I did like the synth voices on this one. Great mix Loved it

Janne,
Loved the concept, highly entertaining, I usually don't watch videos but this one was a perfect companion piece. Great job, very creative, its history is paying off!

Janne, cool concept, LOVE the arrangement and overall vibe. The energetic bursts of vocals separated by the insane guitar runs was an inspired choice, and had me laughing in admiration. The sly humor bled through without AI-injected humor just fine to me. Vocals sound really good, as does the mix. Ho! Ho! Ho!

HA! Wonderful concept, Janne. If Santa can get to every house on this planet in 24 hours, why not add the rest of the Milky Way.
I really like the fast-paced romp --the only way Santa could make it. In less than 2 minutes --well 4, no 6 cuz I replayed a few times-- you deliver an incredibly fun ride. Really dig those lyrics. "Here comes solo." You are definitely beaming dream bling with this gem, Janne.

Lots of energy and hilarious After "Here Comes Solo", I expected Han Solo to show up playing a lightsaber, but of course, you can't have everything. Enjoyed my listen. A lot ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/images/icons/default/thumbs_up.gif)

Hi Janne.
As is so often the case, you take originality to whole new heights and create a song that it outstanding. I have never once considered the possibility of an intergalactic Santa Claus. After watching your video and listening to you creation, I feel like I've entered a whole new world of possibilities! You've done a great job. This was fun, lively and really enjoyable musical entertainment.

Excellent Xmas exposition! Totally love the electric guitars in this.
