Hi Fred!
This song has a very likeable backing band, and each instrument can be heard. The words ‘rope … from heaven’ - I like the way there’s a small pause in between the words to create a sense that there are two messages in one that also come together. The B3 interlude creates a sense of waiting, and also in the outro, which I think would have been aided by a fade out? Anyway, just my thoughts - a really good song.
Andrew Thanks, Andrew for your comments. I could have done a fade but in the context of the album, I had already had a bit too many fades. I get your point though!
