Hi
When I close BIAB I have some pop up alert windows , and sometimes it s written : access violation at address 05FC3A82.Write of address 0000009F at:05FC3A82. Sometimes it s many of those windows, and I have to use the task manager to end task
How can I close BIAB normally?
At the beginning I didn t have this problem , but now I have it

This problem has been around for a while. I consistently have it on my Vista laptop when I have an external synth connected. Using Coyote Forte, I rarely see it. If the problem appeared after working fine, something must have changed such as an update or the addition of some hardware. You can try a BIAB reset to factory settings and see if that helps. Otherwise, search the forum for 'Access violation' and you'll see plenty of posts with suggestions that may help you. Also, make sure you have the latest updates for your computer and BIAB.

What operating system do you have?
Where do you have Band-in-a-Box installed?
If Vista or 7, is User Account Control enabled?
Which exact version/build of Band-in-a-Box?

Access Violation messages unfortunately are a relatively frequent phenomenon of the current versions of BiaB.
The first line of attack should always be IMHO to update with the latest patch.
That always works for me and most others here too.
Give it a shot.

Hi ,
happens to me too. Not all the time though.
I'm running Win7 ( the home edition vers. not the pro vers.) & the latest BIAB 10.5 vers.
I've got Coyote DXI, Cakewalk TTS & Coyote WT. I swap between them.
Haven't paid attention to when & why it happens ie don't know if it happens with a particular synth, or if it's when I use realtracks or whatever.
Something I'm doing causes it, because it doesn't do it every time.
I'll see if I can pinpoint when it happens.

to danieldaniel i had this problem for almost yr. it quit with the exception boxex.,after i called support some of the volumn buttons and the dxi wouldn,t respond. removing the
bbw. ini or maybe it was cfg. can't seem to remember which one restarted the program and it was whatup again. you might also try adjusting your asio if you have
that capability. good luck. realband also did this and i found out it worked and kept
trying to update it and it responds and sounds better.
