Currently, the Multiview system use a combination of shortucts & menus /submenus:

[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]

And then:
- Ctrl+click on a view button to force the window to float.
- Shift+click on a view button to add the window as docked in the main workspace.
- All view buttons show an active state when their window is docked.
- The MultiPicker Library window can also be docked or floating. Ctrl+click on the [Library] button to force it to open as a floating window.

I always get confused when opening and closing panels. I either can't remember if I should press 'Ctrl' or 'Shift' to open an extra view, or I can't remember if the last icon I click opens or closes that view (in fact, it leaves it open and closes everything else).

Wouldn't be much easier and intuitive something like this?
- Left click on any icon: Open that view in docked mode (or close it if it was already open)
- Right click on any icon: Same, but in floating mode.

No shortcuts to memorize, no innecesary menus, simple, clean and easy.
