I have looked high and low, but am coming up empty handed or perhaps am going about the search in the wrong manner. I am looking for a style where there is either a guitar chord or piano chord stab on only the 1 and the 3. I would mute all other instruments and turn on the metronome. My goal is to make a harmonic metronome for practice of bass lines. I have been told such a style exists, but for the life of me cannot find anything. Can you guide me either by pointing me to it or educating me on how to better look for something like this?

Have you tired using shots to do this? Using holds would also be worth try (although these will sustain chords across beats 2 and 4).
To enter shots, just type in the chord and then two full stops (periods)... for example, C.. C.. C.. F.. F.. etc.
To enter holds, type in the chord and then three full stops (periods)... for example, C... C... G... Am... etc
Once you've typed in a few chords, it would be easy to copy and paste them to create a complete chordsheet.
Shots and Holds work with Realtracks and with MIDI tracks.
To add shots/holds to just one track, you could use the two periods and apply exclusions that are found in Chord Options (ALT+F5).

Hey Noel! Thanks for helping. How do I know how to pick a style that will have an instrument that will play on those shot spots?

They work with all MIDI tracks and most Realtracks. To see which Realtracks have shots/holds available, if you go to Realtrack picker RTs with shots/holds will have a number in the "Hold" column. Noel is correct. To answer your latest question, ALL styles that I have tried will insert the specified instrument shot at the designated spots. If you want to exclude some instruments, the ALT-F5 menu is handy. For example, you could just have the guitars and/or pianos do shots, and have the drum play through without stopping. If you're practicing bass, you could mute the bass track altogether. Lots of options for getting a nice practice track.

OK very cool, let's see if I get this. Open the style picker. Click on the instrument header in the RT or MIDI tab to get lists of a style with the instrument you might want to hear as the shot. Then look in the shots column to see if that style with that instrument has the shots feature. Then try one and maybe find an instrument which is truly a short shot. Sound like I am on track?
