Beautiful, gentle, and relaxing song.
I love the vintage sound of the piano, add a lot of atmosphere.
Well done!

Hi, Laurent.

Nice song, with a good production.

I listened without watching the video, because watching too much AI hurts my head. So the sound effects were a bit strange to hear. laugh

My daughter walked by, saw the AI video, and offered... constructive criticism. wink

The emphasis worked a lot better, although having words held so long makes them hard to understand. Of course, if I'd watched the video, that wouldn't have been a problem!

There were some places where the phrases sounded disconnected, like "I need you" at 4:29 was sung as separate words with pauses in between the words. That's something to avoid.

SynthV insists - as always - on pronouncing "and" wrong, like at 3:44. I usually change it to "end" or /ae n d/. It chose the wrong pronunciation for "tears" (as in "rip"), which should have instead rhymed with "fears".

All that said, a pleasant listen! smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

When I read that the dayis breaking, I knew you would be the best choice to fix it, Laurent. hehe. Yep, I was right. Those strings grabbed me and carried me through this magnificent composition (again). The images in your video are also perfect. I'm sure your wife "putting up" with you is a rewarding task, and this song is a fine example.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Laurent, A fantastic tribute to your wife.
I really liked the backing band and the lead instruments. They were stellar.
I wasn't sold on the synth vocal. IMHO it wasn't up to par with the rest of the band. Since I don't use synth vocals I have no suggestions on how to make them sound better. BUT this is just my opinion and others may or may not agree.
Regardless this is a very good song.

I think you've got a really great chord structure and production here. But I'm not keen on the single word lyric sections. Otherwise it could be a great love song.

Laurent,

Pretty tune and production . . . impressive video as well. The synth vocal works well in this mix; you’ve done a stellar job with that too! Great stuff!! Hope the wife enjoyed it equally as much!

Laurent, very pretty with a lot of nice movement and textures in the backing track. Nicely mixed, too. Super placement of the guitar solo. Powerfully intimate lyrics like these would fare better with a human vocalist I'm sure, but Synth V conveys the essence well enough. Quite a sweet song, I'm sure your spouse is pleased.

Very nice tribute to your wife. The band pleased my ears, all instruments support nicely your beautiful chord progression. The solo guitar works perfectly for the mood. Nice video too, there were some AI faces I have seen too often, but effects and things like the peacock and woman guitarist looked lovely.

Laurent, I agree with all the comments about the song effects and the imperfect singer from Synth V. And the ending chord was too conventional for this. However, I liked your idea of single-word lyric lines--very creative and I think effective here. The chord changes were very pleasing. Overall, I enjoyed listening!
