Hi Noel!
I didn't insert the note via a midi keyboard, I inserted them by clicking onto the staff. Then I right-clicked onto the just inserted note to toggled the note characteristics in the according window. My apologies for not explaining myself well enough. I wasn't referring to a MIDI keyboard but a software synthesizer. It's possible that the software synthesizer that plays the sounds of the notes on the music stafff doesn't go as low as you want. When you changed the pitch of the note using note characteristics to C1 or C0 did you test the note to see if it played? It will probably play on some synths and not on others.
