(Bandcamp Link) RIDING THE LANDSLIDE (Soundcloud link) Riding The Landslide New songs seem to be few and far between these days for me, But the desire is still there to create. This is a song written in sadness describing seeing someone you care about throwing it all away for a temporary high or thrill. I'm still making tweaks on this! Thanks for giving another one of our tunes a listen! Torrey, it's great to see you here with a new song! You have been missed!
Good topic for a song, I'm sure we all know people who have gone down that road.
Mix and production are wonderful, totally pro all the way. I especially love your guitar work.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Hi Torrey, You really manage to capture the musical atmosphere of bands like America, Eagles, or Wishbone Ash. There are beautiful vocal harmonies with typical guitar riffs. I really love this style, which was a big part of my youth. The sound is excellent. Laurent

Hi Torrey! You use some really cool chord changes in this song - I can’t name them but they sound good. The guitar solo is terrific with the harmonised guitars. ‘Riding the landslide’ - that’s a really apt metaphor of instability and something that’s going to pull one down. Great song! Andrew

Excellent song in all respects. Love your guitar fills!

Super song, Torrey! Love your overall arrangement, especially on vocals. Strong vocal performance and lead guitar lines as well. Very cool, shimmery sound and a deep hook. Always love hearing what you've cooked up. Glad you're back!

Hey Torrey,
Nicely done mate. Well sung and produced. I couldn’t agree with you more that good songs (chart songs) are few and far between these days. It’s like the stream and download generation has sucked the lifeblood and originality out of the current music scene. But hey, your song is original and genuine. I really enjoyed my listen.
Kind regards.

Oh, man, Torrey. Creating things is one of the best gifts humans have recieved. Creations you craft with Ron are also great gifts for us all. Your lyrics are always caring and thought-provoking, often with encouragement and inspiration. This one is a fine example. Extraordinary music and mixing is also your talented signature. Love that guitar, too.

Hey Torrey,
This is great man. I've been listening to a lot of songs this weekend while I've been out and about in the yard doing some chores and just getting around to posting comments separately.
Man this sure is nice. Excellent music and lyrics and arrangement production and everything is usual.
I think you must be singing in a slightly different style than you were singing some songs in the past, and don't get me wrong it sounds wonderful, but at first I didn't realize it was you so maybe you have a couple of different techniques that you're using these days.
Any rate it's a wonderful piece of work man. Happy holidays.

THAT VOICE! A fab arrangement and narrative with Torrey trademark harmonies. Smooth but with biting harmony lead guitars. The "Don't go"s are icing on the cake.

Strong lyrics. You have perfected that 70s style sound so well. Guitar sound is phenomenal. Those BIAB sound like they are part of the song---meaning that sometimes those BIAB ooos and ahhhs don't quite fit in some songs, but here you blended them in well.
