Thanks for mentioning the style - I will check that out. What I didn't quite grasp was your mention of sound choices. Do I take it that somehow you didn't use the RT sounds that came with that style in BIAB?

That is correct. I did not use the RTs. I used the MIDI charts and assigned various VSTis to them. I use MIDI as MIDI is much easier to modify than audio. For instance and I raise or lower a MIDI track many semitones and not get any artifacts. Or I can change the sound completely like taking a piano track and using a harp sound etc.

By my naive understanding in EZKeys, one has to create a song with the program with chords and styles. What does one do in such a case? Your description fascinates me, so I am curious with the what and why of these choices or substitutions.

In this song I used the EZKeys piano sound. I did not create an EZKeys track. I used the BiaB piano track and that gave the EZKeys what notes to play.

I have used an EZKeys generated track with BiaB but I have found it easier to do so in my Studio One Pro DAW. My workflow is to get the song structure done in BiaB (chords, style, groove) then bring those tracks into my DAW. I find working in my DAW much easier and less frustrating than working in BiaB. Others work completely in BiaB. Just choose the workflow that works best for you.

I hope this helps.
