In this style, there's a beautiful combination of electric guitar (Mike Durham) and pedal steel guitar (Eddy Dunlap). The images at the end of the video reference a film; can you guess which one?

Laurent,

A beautiful composition... A great set of RTs, vocal and an excellent mix.

Those final images remind me of Planet Of The Apes. smile

Hi, Laurent.

Nice! It's a bit "pretty" for the subject matter, but that's fine.

I assume the last shot is a reference to a film based on the novel La Planète des singes. smile

Laurent, this has a soothing, shimmery sound that is easy to like. Cool BiaB backing track. Very warm and expressive Suno vocal. I especially liked the soaring fade in at about the 3:00 mark. The pronunciations sounded off in a few isolated places but not enough to distract from the tune. Didn't watch the video. Super stuff!

Wow, this was so stunning to watch that I forgot to listen to the song. But I went back, of course, and it is a very good song. Many phrases that were not common to English, but that's okay. You really kept me entertained for six plus minutes, great job! The last scene is none other than Planet of the Apes, of course, which was a great way to end it. Superb work!

It's a great song lyrically and the production is excellent. Mike Durham and Eddy Dunlap are 2 of my favourite musicians to sample.

Laurent,

It's a very beautiful song.
I really like the chord progression and melody.
Suno's vocals are also amazing.
I can understand why members on this forum have been using Suno's vocals recently.
Unlike the music, the video has a slightly eerie feel.
The ending scene is from "Planet of the Apes", isn't it?
Enjoyed my listen and Watch a lot.

Best regards.

Nice song.
Some of the lyrics seem a little stiff given the flow of the melody but that's just me.
How did you go about the Suno vocal?

Cheers

How did you go about the Suno vocal?

Thanks Ray for the feedback. I'm not a Suno expert; I've only been using it for a few weeks. I uploaded the audio version I made with BIAB, where the vocals and lyrics were done by Solaria from Syntesizer V. I put my lyrics in the lyrics section, and for the style, I requested a pop ballad with a singer who has a slightly angelic quality. He gave me two versions, and I kept the one I liked best. The vocalizations were created without my request, and I had to remove two or three notes from the vocals that he had modified because they were out of harmony.

I like this song.........even though the Pollyanna glasses have definitely come off. Some people (my wife too) tell me they don't like my sad songs. But as an observer of life, they find their way into my songs. I like the honesty of this song, the beautiful images and the song itself.
