That is my number 1 aim in my songwriting - to find something in the combo of melody, chords and backing that grabs someone’s ear. However, I realise that this is the soup I have been sitting in my whole life, whereas others have been in a different soup and might not find it appealing. But my soup? I like it … I like it a lot!
