Yeah, I remember that James Taylor video. I should play guitar more often, my calluses are almost gone. Last month, I'd foolishly taken my short-scale bass to a gig without checking the tuning on it, and it was untunable. Back home a week later, I didn't have a tuner handy to intonate it, and the Fender app on my phone was useless. So I downloaded the free version of the LockOn tuner. Wow! If you don't mind tuning your instrument on a PC, you might consider getting it.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
