Thanks Bob! While this is my wheelhouse, I’d like to break out of it for a while and record in styles from other decades. I am working on a 90s style song at the moment.

I'm not sure how effective that is--rhyming being a "memory" thing--here it has to carry over from one verse to the next, but I think it's a real clever concept. There's one place in the bridge where you go from C-->Am->G..my "conventional" ear wanted that Am to be a D9, but that's just me. Overall, your work is so listenable, the message nice and clear, and each music element fit just right--no need to crowd any of it out with unneeded embellishments. Enjoyed it thoroughly!
Thank you Tom! Your analysis of the lyric rhymes across verses is something I did, but didn’t do strategically - if that’s the right word.

Regarding the chord change to Am in the bridge, that is exactly as I wrote it and wanted to stay true to that. It is the most ‘minor’ part of the song, and interesting it sits under ‘happy’.

As Mario said, a relatable write. The bass works nicely. …
Thanks David! I do try and write positive, uplifting songs, and if ever I find I have written negatively/pessimistically, I will usually modify it.

Thank you all for listening.
