It needs one very important thing for live gigs a lyric and chords window. based on the bar-based feature in BiaB. Once that it there then notebooks, and apps like iRealPro can be replaced. I have been begging for this from day one and so far it seems to be on the back burner. Until that is there it is just a cute app to travel and do light weight BiaB work on. Not really gig worthy.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
