This is something that has regularly baffled me, and has brought me to a full stop now...
I know Realtrack instruments show as green, and midi normally as yellow.
I'm using a real tracks style, which has no real track selected for 'Piano'. It shows as white. I want to add a midi strings section.
If I right-click the white 'Piano' instrument, the realtracks setting has "Song doesn't override real tracks" selected. I have tried picking both "synth strings 3" and "synth strings", from the midi selector, but there is no sound from the strings section.
Midi instruments play fine on other midi songs.
Is there a setting I need to change in the style to get the midi and real tracks to co-exist and play together? Or where am I going wrong?
