I know, I know, it's a big ask - like requesting a rain check on joy and cheer. But here's the thing: this simple song, though tough to birth, has been a balm to my soul. It's a cathartic confession, a heart-on-sleeve serenade that's helped me heal, one note at a time.
There were tears, scribbled-out lyrics, and at one point, I think I argued with a chord progression. But somehowโ€”through the messโ€”it became healing. A little sonic therapy session set to melody.
