Ray, Notes

I set my web page up with embedded tags BUT the tags don't play unless you click on the song title and then it starts at 50% volume. The web page opens up silent. Biggest problem is that between the time I did the coding, Firefox moved to version 3 and would no longer play embedded MP3s unless the visitor was also running Quicktime to handle the MP3.

I have since discovered that Firefox will open an embedded WMA file in Windows Media Player. So embedded WMAs open with IE8 and Firefox 3.x. I have tried several solutions to save all of the embedded coding for MP3s but to no avail. So now any new songs I add, I do as WMA.

Any solutions? Check out my site link below and see how it responds to your browser. Comment buttons are on my webpage - don't hi-jack Ray's thread.

Ray - basically what I did was what Notes suggested and that was to allow each visitor's browser to respond to my site's coding choices and choose their own playback method. Be interested to hear what choice you make.

Cheers - Ian
