Liam is in fine vocal form. I can't believe there's emotion in a synth voice. Your song lends itself well to the folksy acoustic arrangement. Lovely melody.. Hi ES. Thanks heaps for having a listen. I'm glad that Liam works for you. This vocaloid is one of the easiest that I've worked with and I'm really enjoying what he brings to my songs All the very best, --Noel Hi, Noel. Nice - upbeat and easy on the ears. You did a nice job with Liam. The lyrics reflect your language, but the melody didn't have quite the unexpected bits that are your signature - at least, not until the end. It's interesting how working with different material can influence the result. Excellent work, as usual! Hi David. It's always good to see you. Thanks for stopping by. And I agree, it was really interesting for me to see where a different starting place took me, too. I had no preconceived ideas when I started this song and Mozart definitely took me places that I wouldn't have thought of myself. Most notably was where Mozart used a tonic pedal bass under the I IV IV I progression at the start of the bridge. This was definitely something that wouldn't have occurred to me. Thanks again --Noel Noel,
You are the most positive songwriter I've ever met. We might declare this "The Noel Adams Theme Song". It has it all.
Nice band. A cool vocal - very human sounding. Nicely mixed.
I hope your world remains magical.
fj Hi floyd. It's great to see you. I don't know if my world is magical. I think it's probably more like wishing for a better world! These days I seem to spend a bit of time in hospital getting patched up so that I can travel the next few months! Fortunately, here in Australia we have socialised medicine so my out of pocket expenses are minimal. I like to think that my songs help make things a bit better for the people who listen to them. That's plenty for me Thanks for taking the time. --Noel

Hi Noel,
Very lovely song with hopeful lyrics! I only asked myself who has to give it to me or you... A bit lame, huh?
It was nice to read how you came to this song and what you used for the chords. The vocal was very good, my only fear is that now the AI vocals will beat us. And that is a bit a pity, I think.
Hans Hi Hans. Thanks for passing through the thread. It's always good to see you. Just like BIAB makes it possible for me to create the backing for my songs, Synthesizer V makes it possible for me to complete the songs with a vocal. I'd be totally lost without either program, these days. I appreciate your visit and your comments --Noel No one does happy like you do, Noel! I've said this many times over the years, your music is always so positive and uplifting.
Excellent idea to get a chord progression from a classical piece! I enjoyed reading that backstory, very interesting.
Good song, enjoyed. Hi Dave. Thanks for your uplifting comments. I appreciate them. I will definitely be investigating Mozart a little more. As mentioned to @dcuny in a previous post, starting a song at the location that Mozart gave me turned out to be very productive! What I began as a curiosity turned into a very productive and worthwhile exercise. Thanks again! --Noel

Janice’s philosophy (coming straight to her from her Mama) is stated well in your second verse:
“Give me happy Give me hope They’re the power that strengthens me day after day”
What a wonderful song you’ve created, Noel, and Liam provides an excellent performance. Mozart’s lovely piano sonata is such a beautiful piece of music and we can see how it inspired you.
The open airy mix sounds outstanding on our monitors. Excellent group of BiaB session guys too.
As one of our favorite quotes says, “there is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.” And your song exemplifies that!
Loved it!
J&B Hi J&B. Thank you for visiting. I love that quote, "There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way." I've never heard it before. Rest assured that it has now joined my collection of adages. Like Janice's mother, my mother also had quite an amazing ability to find happiness and hopefulness on a daily basis. It didn't matter what kind of cloudy or stormy circumstances arose, my mother always managed to find that proverbial silver lining. As I've said before, I guess a little bit of her outlook on life rubbed off onto my siblings and me. I'm very grateful for that. May a million good things come your way --Noel

Lovely uplifting sentiments, a well written song. Thank you for providing positive thoughts today.
Kind regards Hi KW. It's always great to see another Australian on the PG Music forums Thanks for passing through the thread. I appreciate you time and your comments. --Noel Love this, Noel. I'm fascinated by your source of inspiration and how it launched the organic creative process, everything coming together syncronistically. Great idea of delving into classical chord progressions. The voice fits perfectly too. Hi Beth, It's excellent to see you. Thank you for dropping in. I appreciate your listening and your thoughts. Best regards, --Noel Inspired by Mozart, but still sounds like a genuine Noel song. The positive message makes me happy and gives me hope. The vocalist Liam expresses your voice nicely, although slightly less convincingly on higher notes than when you were singing. The BIAB country band supports the cheery spirit of your song very well.
Janne Hi Janne. Thanks for taking the time to visit, listen and comment. It's always great to see you. Things must be starting to get pretty cold over in your part or world! When it comes to using and understanding Synth V and its vocaloids, I've still got quite a way to go before I reach your level of experience. That said, I'm really loving what the software has made possible for me. With each song that I create, I learn a few more tricks and tweaks I really appreciate your comments. Thank you. I hope you and your family have a festive Finnish Christmas! --Noel

What a lovely song Noel. Your songs are so positive and uplifting. Thank you for these song. Excellent production. Well done.. Hi Scott. It's good to see you. Thank you I appreciate your comments. --Noel A wise musician once said, "hardly anything in music is invented totally new--we all borrow from each other". This is a totally legit way to create--the masters who came before have much to teach us, and I think Mozart would be quite happy and pleased to know that his work influenced creative thought in others. The whole track is so listen-able and well put-together. I esp liked the lyric, lies so nicely with the melody and is sung so smoothly and effortlessly. Great work! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Hi Tom. Thanks for those mighty fine words of wisdom You're right! Musical foundations are definitely something that people build on. There is no shortage of examples from the famous composers to today's songwriters. I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks for the smile that came my way after I read your comments. --Noel

Noel,
It's a beautiful waltz with a slight country flair. Your songs are always bright, hopeful, and uplifting. I love Mozart, so like you, I sometimes use his chord progressions as inspiration. The vocals from Synthesizer V's "Liam" are also a perfect fit for this song. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.
Shigeki Adachi Hi Shigeki Adachi. Thanks for visiting my thread. Like you, I'm a Mozart fan. His music is amazing. I only wish that I had his ability to hear a whole orchestra in my head simply by looking at the music. He's another of those famous musicians who died way too young. Thank you for taking time to pass on your thoughts. I sincerely appreciate your comments. All the very best. --Noel

Noel,
The result you have achieved from the classical inspiration you mentioned are nothing short of astounding! This is a pleasure to listen to! The folk-rock waltz vibe you have created with the backing is perfect! Noel, you are one of the best around here when it comes to writing/arranging/performing a tune in BIAB and I never hesitate to hit the play button on one of your tracks!
Take care, TB
