Amazing SongWriting. IMPRESSED. fj

The best xmas present a songwriter could get is a glowing review from Floyd. You made my whole month with this, Floyd. Thanks so much!

I like the wistful mood with the help of the pleasant Latin groove. The piano and the bolero guitar are excellent BIAB track choices. Happy or dark lyrics, both work and tell the story from slightly different angles, in my mind the happy story comes first (dream) and then the dark one follows (fall back to reality). Everything sounds really smooth and I have nothing to complain about the Suno vocalists, they really fit into your soundscape, vision implemented coherently.

We are down with the happy version.
Not that we avoid dark lyrics being blues folks smile
Guess it's the time of the year and Janice is "Miss Positivity!"

Both are well produced all around.
We were gonna parse things out but DC Ron's review perfectly stated our reactions.

We enjoyed the backstory and the opportunity to compare them!

Hey Tunemonger,

It's a great tune man. Love the feel and the style you chose.

Only listened to the Happy version, and man I'm not sure if I have the guts enough to listen to this sad version right now, but maybe I'll give that a whirl in a second.

I really like this one though!

Happy holidays man!!

Well, I like both versions. They both have appealing elements. The dark version because it's dark and real. The vocal performance is better in the happy version. Good song with a catchy melody.

Rob,

I think a dark version of the lyrics suits this melody and Latin rhythm.
If wanting to arrange songs freely, I also think BIAB still has the advantage, so I greatly agree with keeping Suno as vocals only.
It's a really nice Latin ballad.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Both versions are pretty good, but I (who would have thought) prefer the dark version, even though the happy version has the better singer.
But I think the dark lyrics fit better with the sad mood created by the rest of the band.

Two very cool song Bob. I really kind of gravitated to the darker version. Maybe the mood I am in these days. Excellent production on both pieces. Well done

TuneMonger,

I opted for the happy version! Man, I like the sound of this track! The sparse accompaniment suites it well. The mix is excellent, and the sound is full and clean! Great job! TB

Thanks, Shigeki! Yes, in my experience, 9 times out of 10, BIAB instruments make a better song than SUNO, partly because of the control the user has. The solos are also miles better. But once in a while SUNO gets lucky, and the results are amazing.

Thanks, Scott. For a dark mood, I suggest you listen to Janice and Bud's Blue Santa song. That'll pick you right up!
