Great first post. Welcome to the forum.

BIAB used to support the Frontier Design Tranzport, an early MIDI controller. I think the code is actually still there, and I’ve corresponded with Dr. Peter Gannon (PG as in PG Music) about adapting that code to a Mackie Control Surface protocol. A few years ago, BIAB substantially improved audio editing. Since we can manually enter control curves, the next evolutionary step is to add automation with a control surface.

If you search the Wishlist Forum, you’ll see posts from me about this going back about twenty years.

Suggestion: split up your two topics and start another thread about Greek characters. That’s a new one on me. It will get better visibility.
