Thanks for the feedback and update. I was quite puzzled as to what might cause the issue you experienced. I definitely could not reproduce the problem.
Knowing about multiple monitors definitely adds a dimension that was difficult to anticipate. Making a project such as BIAB work with the various and probably infinite variations of user's equipment and situations must be a major challenge for PG Music, but they've done a fine job through the years. I do appreciate your and the others' efforts to try to help. Having the ability to bounce a problem around to seek solutions here is a great relief knowing you're not on your own. Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
