What would be the easy way to add 4 more bars before the C chord starts ? ( 120 total bars )

There is a button to "Generate Intro" which will place 2, 4 or 8 bars at the very beginning of the bar chart. The button has an ABA on the icon for Song Form.

Oh, thats not what you want. In front of C you say. Just right- click on the C and select "Insert Bars"

Also...if you type "in2" in any bar, two empty bars will be inserted. Change the "2" to however many bars you want to insert.

Many options indeed!

Yeah, those shortcut keys can come in handy. The companion shortcut I use is "k2", which copies the previous two bars of chords into the next two bars. So if I want to insert a copy of a four bar section, I'll go to the fifth bar and type "in4" followed by "k4". I find it a little quicker than using the Song Form Dialog for small changes...

Sure. If you go to BiaB Help Index and search for "shortcut" or "hotkey" you'll find everything you need.

Danna,

You will also see shortcuts listed on the right-hand side of the many BIAB menus. The image below is the right-click-on-chordsheet menu.

Brilliant, Noel.

The Shortcut description for "Insert and Copy last N bars" in the menu for "K" is a little tricky since the shortcut copies previous bars and OVERWRITES the existing bars but doesn't actually "insert" any bars. That's why you have to use the "N" shortcut first if you want to "Insert and Copy" to new bars.

Thought maybe I was confused (again) but just tested it.
