I felt that way for the first half hour but slowly changing my mind unfortunately. I expected to be shaking my head in disbelief to some extent but it's beginning to feel like a complete let down now. I'm hopeful some of this will be improved with updates but past experience is telling me not to hold my breath. I personally think it's just a matter of changing some positions. Many problems haven't been solved at all.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
