I've had Band in a Box 2025 UltraPak for a year now, and I just bought Band in a Box Pro Update to take advantage of the new interface.
I've discussed at length on this forum the numerous problems I encountered with Band in a Box 2025, that led me to believe that Band in a Box was becoming overly complex and difficult to use.
So, I'm happy to say that I think the new interface offered by Band in a Box 2026 is a great success: more readable, more ergonomic, more user-friendly, and closer to the spirit of the DAWs we use elsewhere.
After only a few hours of use, I've already gotten used to it, and barring any new bugs, it should make my life much easier!
I felt that way for the first half hour but slowly changing my mind unfortunately. I expected to be shaking my head in disbelief to some extent but it's beginning to feel like a complete let down now. I'm hopeful some of this will be improved with updates but past experience is telling me not to hold my breath.

I personally think it's just a matter of changing some positions. Many problems haven't been solved at all.

That's what I'm hoping because there's a lot about it that I like but a few things makes me want to revert to 2024. Will just have to see how it goes but I'm not very confident just yet.
Lazy Bird, Yeah, new UI was a major success mainly because PGM engaged in a two way conversation and got direct feedback from users. Many things actually turned out much better than expected.
It seems there is a certain group of software conservatives (If there is a term like that) that don't like this "shortcut" or "that button" and ready to dismiss enormous progress that was made. I just ignore. BIAB has a long way to go in terms of how my forum friend coined: "user experience", but UI was a solid step forward in much needed direction.
Other than having to learn where everything I use is located, my only complaint is the small space and font of the song titles on the chord page. Can the size of that area be increased a little? And the color of the font----can that be changed? Mine is dark green.

Most items can be changed. I'm not sure about "song titles on the chord page" though?
To change font selection, color and size on the chord page, right-click and select Display Options, then select from the available options.
BIAB & RB2026 Win.(Audiophile), Windows 10 Pro & Windows 11, Cakewalk Bandlab, Izotope Prod.Bundle, Roland RD-1000, Synthogy Ivory, Session Keys Grand S & Electric R, Kontakt, Focusrite 18i20, KetronSD2, NS40M, Pioneer Active Monitors.
The main tool bar is above the Chords page (or whatever display is showing). There are some adjustments to this from this control, but I don't believe that song title size is included.
You can change the color of the 'Readout Song Name' from display options, but I couldn't find a way to change the size.

There isn't a way currently to change the font size, however we will add an option in the next build.
OK, so that's great news. Thanks for the update.

Can you clarify what you mean by "song titles on the chord page" ?
In the center at the top of the chord page, to the immediate right of the “Song” Button, where you type-in the title of a song that has been arranged for playback. Right above the space that identifies the style of the song.
