The field with the orange and pink flagging is where they thought the slave cemetery was located. Orange flags are where the ground penetrating radar showed anomalies 2ft down and each pink flagging tape was an individual dog's indication.
The digging is on the slave cemetery. They pulled back 12" of topsoil to see where the hardpan was disturbed. They confirmed that they have found the cemetery where slaves are buried.
