24 bar test.
Drums and bass playing from bar 1.
Try to bring in a guitar at bar 7 using F5 bar settings - back to normal
Click apply.
Is the dialog suppose to close after clicking "Apply" ?
Guitar does not come in at bar 7 ... though you see the track in the mixer is getting a signal, but no sound.

Wow, that link above sent off Virus Warnings!!!! I suspect you will have to try something different. Maybe, Try Google Drive.

Wow, that link above sent off Virus Warnings!!!! I suspect you will have to try something different. Maybe, Try Google Drive. The file above was on my personal web space ... but will remove the link. Guitar does not come in at bar 7 ... though you see the track in the mixer is getting a signal, but no sound. The Apply button does not close the dialog now. It means you can continue to make multiple adjustments without closing the dialog. What track is the guitar on? Is it on a Utility tracks or one of the Legacy tracks? Is the track frozen at all?

Hi Danna. Thanks for providing the file. That helped a lot. When I loaded the file and tested it, I found that the Guitar track was disabled. I suspect that this is what is causing the issue. I enabled all tracks and still the F5 feature would not work. I guess I could try RTFS's but why would I need to do that. Also the Guitar tracks only identifies "return to original settings", but there was never a setting to change from the "original settings". Also no red bar" showing anywhere in the chord chart. This file is messed up.
But here is kicker, now when I try on a new file - same problem, F5 not working.

OK, believe it or not - it started to behave after a RTFS! Both your file and mine!!! No reason I should have to reset my machine to play your file!!! Also, that Apply Button does nothing. Don't know how long that has been broken but in my opinion it needs to at least blink when it applies.

The Apply button actually applies the current settings, but it's not obvious. You can select other bars and apply different changes etc, then close when all is complete.
It's not broken, it's a change in the way it works since the 2025 version, and I think it's part of the non-modal dialog changes.
Yes, it's not obvious that the interaction is working.
