I've attached two screenshots showing the problem. As I was replying I realized that I could enlarge the window of the DAW plugin and that resolved the problem with the Ci chords and they now show correctly as C7. It also resolved the problem with the Fmaj7 chords being displayed as F MAJi.
Take a look at the screenshot because I think a lot of people might not realize that it is a window sizing issue. Notice, for instance, that the Db7#11 chord in bar 23 appears as Db7#1i, which is super confusing.
The F/\7 was just my attempt to get the forum software to show it the same as the standalone BiaB version. It now shows as Fmaj7 in the plugin version after I made the window larger.
Fwiw, I never enter chords in the DAW. I use standalone BiaB every day when I'm practicing. Then I eventually switch over to Luna, and load the same song into the DAW plugin. At that point, it is usually very jarring to see everything in both a different font and notation.
My main genre is jazz so I'm using the chords for the purposes of improvising.
[ Of course, I aspire to be a real musician and simply "hear the chords". But that is probably 30-40 years away still, so for now I'm left having to read the chords.]
