Lee - yes there's a lot of computer based music on this forum
and I thought I'd do something a bit more 'real' (glad you heard
the genuine & sincere intensions). However I do also admire the
amazing skills of all the great computer musicians on the forum,
all a bit beyond me!

Carl, an extremely peaceful instrumental that was played perfectly. Just what I needed after shoveling and snow blowing today. Keep posting these outstanding songs.

Gentle Caress is an appropriate title. The music touches you lightly and washes over you peacefully. Very nice! Excellent musicianship.

This is a beautiful, peaceful song/melody. So beautifully played on that nylon guitar. It sounds so close and clear. Was the microphone in the guitar?

Hi Hans - many thanks for your very nice comments, I played my Takamine TH-90 Hirade classical guitar which does have an internal pickup (I've changed it)! This tune was recorded in my tiny bedroom in Logic Pro X using a Microtech Gefell M300 condenser mic into a GoldenAge Pre 73 DLX and GoldenAge Comp 54 mk 2, from there straight into my MOTU 828 ES audio card! Same recording setup for the Taylor Grand Concert Custom 12-fret acoustic for slide playing, the piano sound is 4 simultaneous VST pianos and the el gtr is a small mahogany PRS style custom with P90 pickups from www.mojopickups.co.uk (THE best).
