Rme is fantastic gear...
post back your Windows audio recording and Playback settings in pictures including the advanced tabs it's got to be a setting.
I suspect either in win audio or in the bface user control app.
Set everything to 44.1 - 16bits.

I run the Babyface Pro (non-FS) using the RME WAS drivers with zero issues. Best hardware $$$ I ever spent, though not cheap. It's a beast...

DC ron is there any way you could post for the RMe your Windows settings the RMe user interface settings and any other settings that you feel might be useful...??

I don’t know what should be selected as settings for an RME audio interface, and I’m surprised to see the word Analog there alongside digital values.
The Default device is checked and it’s evident you have a RealTec device, but it doesn’t say which device that default is.
I do know RME equipment has top quality reviews.

Matt, the inputs and outputs listed here for the RME are indeed analog, but it makes sense. The outputs are XLR and go to studio monitors. I frankly never record with BiaB so I often don't list anything for inputs. But Analog 1/2 are the XLR mic inputs and I could use them if I wished. (When I record through the RME on my DAW I'll use either the XLR mic inputs (Analog 1/2) or the ADAT (which is of course digital). "Analog 3/4" are 1/4" inputs.)

FYI my IO ports are set similar to yours.
Just a different manufacturer of course.
Any chance you could post pics of your Windows audio settings for recording and Playback including the advanced tabs.??
