Two quick things.

First, F2 and Fadd9 are indeed different chords but BIAB implements them both as F2. Same for Fadd2; it's played as F2. You should not expect to hear different chords.

Second, unless you turn off Natural Arrangement (and sometimes even if you do!), BIAB is likely to choose similar chords sometimes, just as a normal human player would, especially in jazz. In the example you tested, BIAB might simply have substituted F2 for F. But first, turn off Natural Arrangement and run the test again many times.
