Ok, I see. I'm not intimately familiar with all the different DAW's but I've read extensive websites that go into comparisons and I just looked up some of them again. When they talk about native cut/paste all they talk about is cutting and pasting within the current project not doing it from one project to another. Not proof they can't do it though. If some of them do that, I'll take your word for it. As to RB, dragging to the desktop and back doesn't involve converting to a wav file. Silvertones clued me in to that one.
