Scott,

A very cool blues/rock tune. Love the laid back groove and excellent mix.

Great stuff!

A solid, well-mixed song. No melody, but it works well with the guitars.

Scott, I consider this a rock blues song something like Santana would play.
Great guitar chops and a sweet tone on your axe.
Super mix.
Loved it.

Great Scott, Scott that is great.

It is modern blues. Sort of tune a certain Mr Gilmour might record. Sounds excellent to my layman’s ears. Beautiful clean tone and has a slow brooding, dare I say, menacing feel to it.

I enjoyed my listens. Kind regards.

Love this, Scott. Slinky, bluesy feel (despite your protests), and when that 2nd guitar kicks in it's magical. Nice thematic development, great use of space and you always get the best guitar tones. The BiaB backing track is of course fabulous, too. smile

Hi Scott!
Great reverb in your guitar - almost a ‘surfing’ reverb feel to it. Great use of the guitar motif’s meter/phrasing repeated or varied as the chord progression develops.

To me, it still sounds like blues rock, and not bad one at that.
There's plenty of room for vocals, so write some lyrics and sing or get a singer.
Your song deserves that smile

Ah, you describe something I've always felt, Scott. Every song stems from the Blues. Man, you can play. Everything I ever heard from your guitars has some kind of Scott-magic that perfectly fits the mood with perfect taste, tone and touch.

Enjoy whatever happens!

This is a stunning instrumental. Excellent instrumentation an so winter atmospheric. I'm also currently working on a winter piece. I blame the snow.

Well done. I like the change in mood and tone. I bit of an ethereal feel in different parts of the song. Cool.

We agree with Mario's mention of Santana.
It's mesmerizing (in the good way) and immediately engaging.

Man, that is one outstanding BiaB Wrecking Crew you called in.
Sounds like ya'll have been playing together for a while.

The mix sets up an excellent soundstage on our monitors.
Feels like center stage, row 3 in a small club.

Well done and we enjoyed it!

Scott,

Nice! That went by so quickly... good listening.

Nice picking - so clean and so "precise"...

Good mix.

Feels like walking in deep snow, the sound of your guitar is like the northern wind on a cold winter day. Some discords make this quite an interesting experience. Great dual guitar painting, and acoustic/electric BIAB guitars work well together. The song lives up to its title. Enjoyable blues journey.

Hi, Scott.

You're right - it started out with some resemblance to the blues, but by the end those ascending motifs took it into a different direction.

Cool. smile

Hi Scott.

This sounds great. I love your playing. You have a very lyrical sounding melody-line. The production is excellent. I wouldn't change a thing.

A very enjoyable journey smile

Had a listen when you first uploaded but didn't have time to leave a comment.

Listening again now. I've always been a fan of your instrumentals, you have a knack at coming up with cool melodic lines.

Sounds good, Scott, nice way to start off the year!
