Hi, I can't get the minimized icons (Notation, Piano roll etc) to sit across the bottom of the screen like they used to.
RB2025 has been like this since I upgraded last year and I've just worked around it.
BUT is there a way to get the icons to sit nicely along the bottom of the screen?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

Do you mean when those windows are minimized after using?
They just disappear for me, I can't find them and use the icons/buttons to reopen them.

Hi Rharv, maybe my memory is failing me but I thought I used to minimize these windows in previous versions of RB.
Cheers,
Mike

Most likely you did, I know I did.
I'd size the Tracks view to leave just enough room to see the minimized windows, but, like you, I can no longer accomplish that.
So I'm agreeing ..

I don't get the problem
One can easily flip through different views using keyboard shortcuts.

Or use the top level windows menu

Frankly for me those minimized icons in previous versions drove me bonkers..
Locating which one to use

Maybe what's needed is like in the new BB gooey design have a side panel where user can easily flick through the different views by clicking on different panels...?

Om

For me those minimized icons (which looked like closed "Windows" windows always seemed to take up a lot of space.

I'll often cascade the open windows, or just select them from the topline menu (or as OM said, use keyboard shortcuts; however, I run too many programs to remember them, so the menu works for me).

Yeah, I'm not sayin' I miss them, just pointing out they no longer seem to exist, which is what the original question was.

John, you ever get a chance to test Track Categories?
I can't seem to actually get one to work anymore.
It says it saves but then doesn't show up.

I'll give it a try. We were on a 5 week camping trip that we just got back from. I'll see what I can do this weekend.
