Tonalic's It is a new paradigm. It's local (ARA or VST3), is not AI, loops or MIDI, but has full fidelity professionally recorded musicians playing along with your chord progression. Each bar blends with the next has smart or adjustable voice leading adjustable feel and can groove sync with the other musicians in the song, Built on Celemony’s DNA technology, it reacts like a real musician would — following your track instead of forcing you to follow it. It produces endless variations, human nuance, and one‑of‑a‑kind results. Sound familiar?  Tonalic ARA: currently supported by Studio One Pro 7.2.3 or Fender Studio Pro 8. They will be adding more DAW's in the future. This applies to the ARA part.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
