I don't usually comment on cover versions, but in your case, I always make an exception  Congratulations on your achievement, lovely version with all of your great trademarks - Janice's remarkable and elegant rendition, Peter's enjoyable guitar playing, and the mix that is top radio/Spotify quality. Hi Janice and Bud.
This is exceptional listening. I love this song. Janice's vocals are a perfect fit; Peter's guitar playing is an equally perfect fit, and the production is outstanding. Honestly, the three of you deserve all the credit and exposure that comes your way. You have well and truly earned it. As an aside, I have to say that it's always amazing to hear what Band In A Box can do when it underpins musical expertise such as yours.
I was completely captivated by this presentation.

I read that you made an EP and a cover. In a message from Andrew, I read that the original song is by Jackson Browne.
I also read about your success on Spotify, and so on.
And that doesn't surprise me at all. Of course, you deserve this success, because you make such great music yourselves, but when you make covers, they just sound like yours! Let's put it this way: when you're good, you're good. And that applies to the three of you. Well, maybe even more so to Janice and her voice.
I'd never heard this cover before. I think that's because Jackson isn't as well-known as you are.
But the best part of all this success is that you remain humble and kind (at least to me...).
Speaking of this song, it's so clear and distinct. It's also a beautiful song (of course).
That alone gives you every reason to be proud of what you've achieved! And as for me: I'm proud too, knowing you!!!

Firstly, happy 80th Bud! Well done to both for keeping active!
I had never heard this Jackson Browne song - having grown up and immersed in the Britosphere, so I don’t have the historical ears. I listened to the original and your cover - Janice’s vocals superb as ever, and Peter’s guitar work and arrangement provides a wonderful backdrop that acknowledges the original but also provides something different. I thought the increase in BPM was an improvement also.
Well done on your achievement - I gave it a spin on Spotify.

Hi, J&B. One of my favorite Jackson Browne (among so many!). Of course, Janice makes it her own. Peter does a great job stepping in for David Lindley. PS: I always wondered how one could "count the time in quarter tones". Of course, "quarter notes" doesn't rhyme, so poetic license wins, as it should.  Thanks! That means a lot especially from a fan of him. We can cut him a little slack on the lyric as if I recall correctly he was 16 when he wrote it. 😀 J&B
